Marte Studios is born with the aim of providing all the necessary tools to the most talented young individuals to tell the most original stories.
We aspire to produce and distribute all those independent films that, by delving into the human soul, can promote the evolution and cultural, emotional, and technical development of the human species. We envision the resurgence of a new Nouvelle Vague rooted in Italy, where everyone has the opportunity to express themselves with simplicity, allowing cinema to be not just a commercial product but an authentic poetic creation.

Who we are
Marte Studios was born to address the absence of players in the independent film production sector in Italy. The company’s objective is to promote independent cinema, both in production and distribution, throughout the national territory. Our motivation stems from an unrestrained passion for artisanal cinema, where everything that happens is the result of deep artistic reflection originating from an individual human being. Born during the production of “Semaforo Rosso,” amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, we experienced firsthand the difficulties that young filmmakers face in producing or distributing their films. Marte was created specifically to address this need. We aim to be surrounded by loyal individuals deeply interested in auteur cinema and dedicated to telling introspective stories. Marte Studios represents the hope to support a truly independent culture. Internal critical thinking, continuous dialogue, and genuine openness to new knowledge are our strengths.
